Does living in Missouri make you boring?
I have been back in Missouri for 6 days and have had little or nothing to blog about. In New York - it felt like I had daily inspiration of one event after another to share and blog to you with, but now I feel the writing tank is a bit dry and empty (it could just be ME feeling a bit dry and empty). Unless, however, you WANT to hear about all the laundry I need to catch up on, the fact that my house looks like a tornado just hit it, or the fact that my daughter barfed all over me and herself 5 times last night. Ahhhhh....the memories! Yeah. There's not been much to say. We are busy catching up with all of our MO friends and reconnecting with playgroups and buddies that we have so missed since our journey to New York. I have never been so excited to see my minivan - ever! It poured down with rain and snow the last couple of days and I was thankful that I had a large house to spread out in and the opportunity to drive in a vehicle as opposed to heading out on foot to run any errands. No thanks! I am happy to be home or atleast, what I know to be home right now. We are unsure of where or when or if the Lord will move us and all of that is in His hands. David has been blessed with so many opportunities through his business since we got back from NY that it has been amazing to see God's hand working on our behalf. We have a church wanting us to come out and visit in March for a possible staff position, so we are taking one day at a time and exploring all of our options. We want roots, we want stability and we want the Lord to give us the opportunity for Ministry that we have never experienced before. Please pray for us when you have a chance and we will keep you posted on the next "adventure" the Lord puts in our path to teach us and grow us. My prayer for today: Lord, help me to see your hand in each blessing that comes across our path. Help me to recognize your wisdom and your plan for us as soon as we see it, and also give David and I the ability to keep walking in faith and push through those doors you are opening wide and avoid any doors you are trying to shut. You are good Lord, and I know that a part from you I have no good thing as your Word says. Oh -and bless us with our second child this year Lord. I pray this is your will and your perfect timing for our lives (just had to throw that in there). I love you.

Hey, we had a pretty eventful night last night to blog about, you remember...dodging puke and chasing toddlers. We are praying for your family that God will show you not only where he wants you to be but also provides the stability you need for your growing family. See you soon!
Did you just call me boring??? (:
Absolutely Not Amber! I get the Liberty of calling it boring because I was born and raised here. Was that a tornado I just heard a brewin' in the East? :-)
oh ho! smartie pants! (: I actually totally agree- I think it is boring in Missouri. Let's all take a trip somewhere fun!
Let's go!
They say no news is good news...right?
I have a really good feeling about your baby arriving this year. It will be perfect timing because Makenna will be independent enough to be a helpful big sister and won't feel like her time as your baby was cheated. I better be one of the first you contact with the news!!!
