I am having a day of crying. I have had several things hit me today that have caused tears to stream down my face. I don't know why the hyper-sensitivity for all of the different moments, but this one, you will surely understand.
I read of a woman today, whose blog I've never read before, named Edie, who lost her home in a fire the Tuesday before Christmas. The Nester - a blog I do read every single day - mentioned this tragedy and made a video for her friend. It brought tears to my eyes for this family and their situation of having absolutely nothing but each other left to resemble their life. Her outlook on even that though is inspiring to hear her speak of God's Grace and blessing in this horrific time.
This post breaks down her week and her emotions and I thought I would share it with you too.
I have been poking around her blog today and learning more about this woman of great faith and inspiration. Please pray for her family today and that the Lord would lift them up in this season of great despair.
I know this is a heavy post, but I am feeling it so deeply and needed to share. Thanks for stopping in today.
On a sidenote that includes food - go to The Recipe Box for a great quiche recipe.
Also, please feel free to check back in tomorrow to see what Little Girl has been doing allllll of Christmas vacation.
Goodnight.

I have a friend who lost her home a couple of years ago and it was such a hard thing to walk beside her as she went through that. God was so faithful to bless them though despite their losses. He is pretty cool that way. He never wastes any of our pain.
