The Power of a Testimony

I am not prone to be a highly emotional person or one to cry very easily, unless however, you are talking about my child, the miracle of our adoption story, or you are telling me a story about your child that makes me think of my child, and well, you get the picture.

It's usually about Little girl that makes me cry.

I am often touched by the things of God, in my heart, but I don't know that I have always shown much outward emotion in response to it (don't know why, just some odd shyness in this department).

A friend forwarded me a video from YouTube and told me that it was about 8 minutes long, but definitely worth watching.

I was getting ready for church this morning and thought, "well, I'll click on it real quick just to see what it is."

It was a simple video of what this particular church was calling their "cardboard testimonies".

I bawled through the whole thing.

I will only give 25% of the crying credit to my hormones and PMS, but the other 75% definitely is going out to the reason I serve the Lord and the reason my whole life is devoted to him. The power of people's testimonies cuts right to the heart of the matter.

I hope you will be touched too. Click here to check out this video. God is amazing!

Somehow I just deleted my own comment. Seriously, how many brain cells did that just take. Whoops! Anyways, what I said was I am so glad you enjoyed this video. I never forward things, but this was so powerful. I was surprised to see the struggles some "ordinary" looking people have overcomed. Amazing!

Wow..I can admit that I cried too! I think it is an amazing way to show the simple truth of Gods Incredible Unconditional Love. I know I need it and have may cardboard signs! Thanks for sharing. N

Kara~ Julie sent this to me too- how beautiful! I wish there was a way that ordinary people who don't know Jesus could see this face of us!

I love this. I saw it done at a women's retreat in WA last year and it was so powerful!
