The wind is whipping around outside and it's like negative 3000 degrees. Trying to get to the grocery store was like risking my very life getting from car to front door. The kids were screaming - half in laughter and half in fear that they were going to blow away.
On days like these - I like to stay in.
I'm doing that tonight.
My friend Shannon and her girls are coming over for the evening to play and have dinner while our husbands are otherwise detained. :-)
I love that we can get their baths done together (well, atleast while BB is still unaware that he is bathing with 3 other girls) and get them all ready for bed all before she leaves for the night. The kids have a blast and the mommies have fun too.
I am already in my jammies and waiting for them to arrive.
Oh - and the best part is.........
She's picking up dinner from a Pie Company.
Chicken pot pie tonight??
