I was feeling unusually creative and decided to draw them a "road" with sidewalk chalk all over the driveway and walkway. Baby Boy had gotten some new cars for his early birthday present and they needed somewhere to take these bad boys on an adventure. The kids loved it and played for quite some time while Daddy was doing this......
The kids had to give it a run to see how they will play in the playhouse area underneath. Looks perfect to me! Daddy has a long way to go, but we are so excited to get this completed for our little princess.
We are going to look into renting a sprayer to paint the bed. We think it would be SO much easier than doing it by hand and to be honest, I am not wanting to do all that detail work until 1:00 a.m. each night, so we shall see.
I can't believe I will be posting her final room pics next week!! So exciting. Baby Boy's room reno probably won't start until the beginning of next year so that we can save up the moolah for round 2, but it doesn't mean we aren't buying all sorts of fun accessories for the little dude. Yay!
Little Girl starts her first soccer practice tonight. You know I will be posting pics of our wonder girl in all her uniform glory, so watch for it soon.

I am soooo excited to see the bed when it's finished! Also, tell LG good luck tonight at her first soccer practice. She will do great! Invest in some cheap shinguards mommy. Trust me on this one. :). I might call you during our layover tomorrow to 1) make sure you are going to the gym 2) to hear all about soccer. Have a great weekend.
