A Day with Daddy

It was an average week in our house.

Laundry.
Clean up toys and clutter in the living room and surrounding areas.
Wash dishes
Sigh at the fact that my bathroom has gotten really, really dirty.
Look at the mop thinking that I should use it.
Shuffling of paperwork.
And, ya know, more laundry.

Well, we just had to break the boring and the mundane and little girl and daddy decided they wanted to go on a date. I am usually in charge of getting the creative juices flowing and helping decide where this date should commence, so I quickly got to work online and in local magazines to see what was happening in the area. Because you know - a trip to the park would just be too easy. :-)

Well, I found in my IndyMoms magazine that Snow White was playing at a Children's theater not too far away where they would get to sit and watch the live performance and also be brought a treat of juice and a rice krispie bar for a snack. They were so excited for their outing and from what I hear the performance was a huge hit! Little girl wasn't real thrilled with the "mean lady" aka - The Queen, but she still went up to her and Snow White afterwards to get an autograph and a hug.

Impressive.

My girl's growing up. Sniffle. Sniffle.

They both were dressed up to hit the town and they completed their morning together with a lunch fiesta at Red Robin (LG's favorite restaurant right now.). Yum.

Baby Boy and I stayed home and relaxed and enjoyed our time as well. We slept and went to Walmart and to the post office. Yeah, we party hard when we get a break! Ha!

Here are some pics of their morning together.

So sweet! Sounds like a perfect date with Daddy! LG looked beautiful as always.
Oh, got the converse at B@bies R Us. They don't have bigger sizes though. So you could get some for BB there. But if you are looking for LG you can probably find some online.

Well, well, aren't you sporting some fun new fall colors...

What an awesome idea! I love that your hubby even got all dressed up for the occasion. So cool!

Super cute! When you have multiple kiddos, moments alone with just 1 are so special. What a fun day!

LOVE that they got a date together! It's true that LG will expect her future hubby to treat her as wonderfully as the first guy in her life did - ( no pressure, there Daddy!) So keep those date nights going - teach her to expect young men of any age to be gentlemen - and she will know a scoundrel when she sees one - :0) TRUST me - I had an awesome example of a quality man - and, now, because of that, I recognized the treasure that is now my better half. Wow. Sorry to preach, but - This Daddy/Daughter stuff is IMPORTANTE, girl! ( More to come on Mother/Son! :0)
