It's Monday and there's a chance of Snow

Mondays are hard. But I love them all at the same time too.

We're tired from the weekend and all of it's festivities, but it's also a nice laundry and cleaning catch up day. I would say it's a "lazy day", but I go to the gym on Mondays, so I have to be out of my jammies by 11:30. That totally stinks.

Now that Winter time is upon us, I don't desire to go outside very much. Normally I can't wait to get my kids out somewhere and keep activities going for us, but in the winter, it's pajama day about 2 days a week. For all of us.....except Daddy of course. :-)

They say there is a chance of snow today and most of this week. I am a fan of ONE good snow per season so that the kids can go out and play in it and we can have a fun sledding adventure complete with the ritualistic hot chocolate at the end.

But after that, I'm over Winter in general. I don't enjoy being cold at. all. When you have kids, the bundling (oh the bundling) that has to take place just to get in your van for a few miles is quite tedious.

Notice how I am writing in these stacatto sentences? It's because it's cold and snowing out and this is all I can come up with.

I started Weight Watchers back today. :-) It's my annual thing. Or my bi-annual thing, or once a quarter thing. Not sure. But here we are! They always expect me online in January. I think I am up 7 lbs., which is a painful reality in my skinny jeans.

I am saying nothing of value today except this one thing.

Little Girl is growing up.

Her first tooth is LOOSE! One of her bottom one's is leaning back and forth pretty good. I almost cried when I saw it. Like, literally started welling up.

Seriously, I am already dealing with the fact that she is going to be a kindergartner this year and that's a whole other set of emotions.

But, the cuteness is that she is SO excited and plays with it all day long. It's this whole "coming of age childhood first milestone" thing. I'm so proud and can't believe it all at once.

Grandma made her a sweet little pillow for her tooth for the Tooth Fairy. LG is beyond thrilled to get to use it. Not sure how much the T.F. is doling out in money these days, but I think we should start small.

Trust me, pictures will be coming soon when she is a little more "spacey" in the mouth region. So fun!!!

On a final note of this exciting post, I took a decorating break this weekend due to lack of funds. Don't you hate that?? However, David and I think we are going very neutral on the wall colors now (like maybe even Grey) and then popping the colors on top of that. I still need Mr. Man to print my Anthro pictures to study to try to mimic the feel, but we only saw each other in passing or with children in tow this weekend, so maybe later this week.

My hubby is doing P90-X and eating like a Saint right now which makes cooking really hard since the kids and I do not want to eat fish or plain chicken most nights for dinner and I end up having to make separate meals. Grrrrrrrr. So, I am trying to be creative in my cooking this week. I am hoping to post some new recipes on the Recipe Blog soon, so I'll keep you posted!

Have a great Monday. I hope you can get the minutes back from your life that you just lost by reading this. :-) Thanks for stopping by!!

I'm with you- I will bawl my eyes out when Anna loses her first tooth. That and kindergarten- ugh... its just seems so terribly big kid-ish!
