Snow Day and a ton of recipes

It's the blizzard of 2011 here in Missouri town. The kids are nothing short of excited.


Me? I could care less. It's pretty, but I like to be out and about and I was already in the house all week with Baby Boy being sick, so.......I'm done.
:-)

I did get to be amused by the kiddos. Grandma bought some dress-up stuff for the boy to keep things exciting while we were shut in.





We kept ourselves busy with games and sledding and something extra fun - home-made Snow-Cream!!

I made chocolate chip banana muffins today too. If I could breathe through my nose at all - I would say they were delicious! At least that's what the kids said they were. :-)

I posted a recipe for some amazing Rosemary Garlic Chicken over there too. We had this dish this past week and it was fab-u-lo-so! You must try it!

Lastly, our day was finished off with some Baked Ziti that I whipped up with some of Carli's home-made pasta sauce I made a couple of weeks ago. I froze the leftovers and thawed them out today. Again, I can't smell, but David's words were "Ohhhhhh man. This stuff is insane."

Yeah. It's really good.

Our night is being completed with a movie. We are watching Ramona and Beezus here in a few. I'll let you know what we think. I used to read Ramona books when I was a kid, so I'm kind of excited. Did any of you read these books too?
