Menu Board Revival

I am reviving my sad little menu board that hasn't had our weekly menus written on it for the majority of the summer.

It just seemed too sad to keep writing "cereal", "whatever I can find", "salad from Pickleman's" or "Pizza" on the menu each week.

So here's my menu board - along with LG's memory verse and letter for the week that we always keep up there for good practice. She gets a prize each Friday if she says it for her teacher. **Side note that I'll tell you more about her "prizes" later this week.

I think you can read the menu in the picture, but for those of you who can't - we are having the following:

Taco Soup
Crockpot Spaghetti & Meatballs
Breakfast Night with egg, cheese & turkey bacon quesadillas
Chicken and Veggie Stir-Fry (our favorite)

For those of you who enjoy seeing the kids Bento meals, here's one I made LG on Friday.


She had some Trader Joe's animal crackers, a few carrots, rolled up honey turkey, a granola bar, cut up cheese stick and grape kebobs. For fun, I added some butterfly cut-outs of fruit leather in there too.

I forgot to take a pic of Baby Boy's bento in his new Goodbyn this morning, but it was a little bit of an awkward configuration anyway. I have to get used to the layout of the box, so maybe I'll do a few practice ones before you get a pic anyway. :-)

I hope you all have had a great start to your week. I have 2 more hours alone while the kiddos are in school, so I will finish my window washing and porch sweeping that for some reason I am in the mood for today. Better go with it!
