So, I walk sideways now

I hurt my back again.

I'm so excited because who doesn't love laying around all day and having to ask for assistance to do things like standing up or sitting down. Yeah.

My back actually "spasm'd" about a week and half ago and I was just taking ibuprofen and stretching and expecting it to go away in a few days. I hurt it, hurt it, about 6 years ago, and then I had a lot of different therapy treatments done on me at a Chiropractic office. I've been able to manage it ever since and have hoped for no more episodes where I am asking my husband to shave my legs again.

Guess what he's doing tomorrow?

David usually gives me a massage when my back does this, and it typically brings me a ton of relief. This time though, it made it about 10x worse. Yikes! So, when I woke up this morning and was completely cocked to the side and not able to walk from point a to point b, we decided to head to Urgent Care to see what they could do to bring me some relief. My pain level was at a 9.

They did x-rays and decided to give me some steroids, muscle relaxers and pain meds to ease my misery. The hope is that I will be better this week, but if not - they are sending me to do another MRI. I was shown to have bulging discs back there my last injury, so we shall see if they are doing anything different.

Currently - I live here.

I'm so thankful that the Library sent me an email last week to let me know my book was ready.

Yesterday (before my pain was bad), I woke up to make Big Breakfast for Dave and the kiddos. We had a special treat from Trader Joe's and these yummy Jumbo Cinnamon Rolls did not disappoint. Yummy!!!

Here's our whole little breakfast on a BIG plate.

We had some yummy scrambled eggs with cheese, some maple sausage and strawberries to compliment our sweet cinnamons. It was a hit with everyone.

I'm so thankful that tomorrow is a day off for all of us, so we will just be hanging home and enjoying the family time and the 70 degree weather!! I hope that I can crawl off the couch to at least sit out back and WATCH the kids jump on the trampoline. I'm praying for healing.....will you join me??

I hope you all have an awesome Monday!

I'm praying for a total healing. Hang in there. This too will pass.

P.S. Soak up every minute of the pampering! ;-)

Praying for you my friend. I'll be home in 24 hours and can help out with kiddos. I'm so sorry this has happened. I know it's been hurting the last few weeks :(
