Manic Monday - A day in the life of a mom

Mondays are actually a day I look forward to. I almost always stay home on Mondays and do the SAHM deeds like laundry, cleaning up the kitchen, putting clothes away, mopping and vacuuming and all those housewiferly things that we all do.

Today is no different, except BB has had a fever the last day and a half and hasn't been sleeping well and the hubs is traveling. That makes for a little extra work load on my part as a mom - or not as much - depending on how you look at it. :-)

Here is where I have spent a lot of my time today


Here's where I've spent a lot of the day avoiding - since I started Weight Watchers again today.


The sad part is these 2 places are the same room.

Soooooo. That's just universally mean if you ask me.

In my busyness - I have also been trying to be a good mom. With BB being sick, I am not taking the kids outside today with all our crazy Indy wind, but LG can get bored and bored for LG equals just plain crazy.

I decided to set up some projects for her today and she seemed to have loads of fun making a "love note box" for daddy and some puppets.


And BB - well, he's just sitting around being cute and everything even while he's sick.

Well, the projects are done. The dress-up clothes are out and the laundry is still looking like a mountain that I can't see over, but look how much fun was had taking pics together. See how dedicated I am? I'm in a robe with crazy hair and no make-up (because it's Monday afterall) and I still share my life with you so openly. Ha! That is blogging dedication my friend. Seriously. I would like to be sent an award or something.
