Christmas Eve Snapshots

Merry Christmas Eve to anyone out there surfing the net and reading blogs on this awesome night. My two kiddos are nestled all snug in their beds and hopefully visions of sugarplums will dance in their heads.

We have had such a fun Christmas Eve with our families and also just at home with the 4 of us, making memories and enjoying the blessing that is our family.

My in-laws made us an italian feast for dinner complete with a lasagna with 5 layers of insane goodness from a cookbook that we got from a restaurant in New York, and it was finished off with (among many other things) tiramasu made by David's sister. It was literally the best I've ever eaten and I am going to steal the recipe!

We told the kids about taking them to Disney World in 2 weeks and LG was ecstatic and they both got to open some Disney related items tonight as we told them. I SO cannot wait to hop on that plane to not only cheer on my hubby and see him cross the finish line at his very first marathon, but to watch my little girl and my son enjoy the magical world of Disney.

She. is. going. to. freak. out!!

I pray that you all are having a blessed time with your families tonight and also tomorrow and remembering the reason we truly celebrate. Thank you Jesus for coming to earth in a lowly manger and changing our worlds forever!

Here are some snapshots of the kids fun night.

Oh, and P.S. We have snow. :-)

Looks like your holidays were a nice blend of family, fun, relaxation, activity, and yumminess. Sorry about the sick stuff...that is never fun. Your kids just keep getting cuter.
