My friend Bekah from Indiana sent those to me as a gift of love for my Christmas peppermint obsession. :-) The funny thing is I really don't eat anything peppermint-y any other time of the year, but once the holidays hit, it's like some trance comes over me. I love my Peppermint White Chocolate mochas from Starbucks - the month of December only though, and I enjoy my Peppermint Jo-Jo's and also TJ's Peppermint Hot Cocoa is pretty awesome too.
It's probably a lot like people are about pumpkin stuff with Thanksgiving and Fall. It just makes me think of the season and I love it.
We did family pictures the other night and they turned out great. Here is Little Girl being silly pre-photos.
She's sassy - like her mother. We can't help ourselves.
My Baby Boy is 15 months old now if you can believe it. I know I can't. He is limiting his vocabulary like most men, but he will randomly say mama, dada and now pa-pa. He just makes a lot of loud noises and points at everything else. He loves to put shapes into their places in his toys and he loves music. He pretty much wants to play anything that sister is doing. We don't really need to buy him toys, because he is just going to throw it down anyway and go find LG and play with her. ha! He is a fast little walker/runner and moves freely about the house like he owns the place (well, he does). He is actually a very obedient little guy (as obedient as a 15 month old can be) and when I tell him "no" or "no touch", he usually shakes his head at me and moves on. He is showing signs of a momma's boy and preferring me over others in a lot of different situations. Can I take a moment here to be really happy about this? I mean really? LG has always been a daddy's girl, so I won't lie that my heart didn't leap a little when he swatted daddy's hands away and clung to me for dear life. Now - don't get me wrong - he loves his daddy and goes to him all the time, but he does have a little bit of mommy love that I will soak up as long as I can.
Here is some video of the kids having a dancing moment. (note that this is old and pre-new furniture. Classy.)
Here is Little Girl's debut song about jalapenos. Daddy and I didn't know what she was saying at first. Made us laugh for quite awhile. :-). She sang that one line song all night to the point I can't get it out of my head.

Loving the videos! Greyson just said "look at BB, he doesn't have any pants on!" See he didn't notice your pre-new furniture :) Now I'm going to be singing "Jalepeno's!"
