:-)
It was a treat. I usually get my typical half-caf drip coffee with cream and 2 splenda, but every once in awhile - I just have to do it!!
I am on a search for some new taller boots right now. I have a very specific criteria, and that makes for the shopping to be quite difficult.
I want them to be brown - not chocolate, not orangey tan, but just a light brown.
I want them to be mid-calf or taller
I want them to have a casual feel - not overly dressy
I want them "slouchy"
I want them for $50 or under.
I have went everywhere from Target to TJ Maxx to Macy's to Dillard's to Shoe Carnival, to Baker's to Aldo. Help!!! I know they are out there. I just need to find them. I need me some boots and I won't give up until I find them. I will have to say that the lady at Aldo kept looking at me like I was nuts when I kept saying, "yeah, those are nice, but I don't want them THAT brown, or they don't have much "slouch" in them, or lastly "are these toes too pointy?". I think she wanted to kick me and the adorable red-head in the stroller outta-there and pronto! So, I shall keep shopping. I am a size 8 1/2 should some of you run across my perfect boot by the way. :-)
Well, we took our kids to the pumpkin patch the other day and they had loads of fun. Here are some pics from our trip.

Lastly, if you are craving all things pumpkin right now - go check out The Recipe Box and whip up some Pumpkin Pancakes for Breakfast.....or dinner. :-)
Watch this week for several new recipes. I will post 3 times a week over at the new blog, so please go check it out!

Hey Kara--Go to zappos.com...if they don't have your boots, they probably don't exist..free shipping and free return...fast service...love your red door....yes, I vote to paint the menu board red (or wipe with red paint for distressed look?)...happy thanksgiving to you and your family! Cute photos!
I was gonna suggest Zappos or DSW. I haven't used Zappos but have heard good things about it. I have used DSW & love them.
Kelley is right. Try Zappo's. I think you are going to have to give just a little on your criteria. Finding good boots under $50 is almost impossible but good luck :). You might also try Piperlime or this sounds crazy but Victorias Secret website has loads of shoes, all different brands. Easy to order from also.
I need some new boots too....they might be my winter/fall splurge since I'm not really doing any other wardrobe updates this season.
Love the pumpkin patch pix!
Good luck on your boot search.
We went to RW farm a couple of weekends ago and had so much fun. Love it!!!
