Update, Responses & Food

So, I am loving all of your feedback recently. It's been just lovely. Thank you so much for the advice to go to Zappos to look for my boots. I have never purchased anything from there, and HELLO! free shipping both ways with a 365 day return policy??? Why not!! I actually found 2 pair that I am in a toss up with, so since it is free shipping, I ordered them both. One is mid-calf and one is almost to the knee. They both are very cute. They aren't EXACTLY what I was looking for, but I did find some that met all of my criteria for $345, but I settled for $69 instead. Call me thrifty.

Also, to Rheagan, I also have a love affair with polka-dots and feel the need to have them in every room. I got those chocolate brown placemats at T.J. Maxx last year. I found the red cake/dessert platter on clearance at Target last week. It matches all those little red bowls you see in food pics over at The Recipe Box. Now get on it and make some Scones to enjoy! You won't regret it!

Well, this weekend is supposed to be chilly, but I still think the hubby and I are going to rip off the laundry room door and spray paint it some beautiful red to match our front door. I am itching to order a "house number" decal for the front of it and I just want it to look all complete and cute for Christmas and before the snow and nastiness get here. We are hoping to tackle it on Saturday. Fingers crossed.

We just had a young college student come over for dinner tonight. She is going to start babysitting for us when Grandma can't or when she is traveling. We are really excited and this girl seems awesome. We served her up some yummy Barbecue Meatballs for dinner. Be watching for the recipe over at The Recipe Box by tomorrow night. If you have ever had these meatballs, can you please attest to their wonderfulness? Everybody has to make these things!

I am going to keep this post short because Private Practice has been DVR'd and if you watch that show, you know that last week was a total cliff hanger and shocker and all things horrifying and now I simply MUST get to it and find out how dear Charlotte is.

I am aware this is an addiction. I am working on it. I am going to get another piece of my crustless pumpkin pie to snack on while I watch.

Nighty-night friends!
