Still Waiting

No computer yet. But, my awesome hubby called me (he was out of town) and told me where he had an extra laptop I could hijack for a few days until mine returns (hopefully). I am so worried about all my pictures and everything I hold dear on there. We've only had my computer since last Valentines day (again, thanks hubby), so I don't understand what the deal is. Anyway - I'm hoping to have pics back on here soon to make this typing look a whole lot more interesting.

I have had several people ask me about my recipes and to that I say - they'll be back! Don't worry! I really do love sharing fun food and recipes I've tried, so that won't be gone forever. Again - I need my iphoto to work! Soon, friends, soon. Thank you so much for sharing with me if you've missed my blogging. It means so much to me and it always spurs me on to keep writing. I appreciate you!

Now onto more important things.

Oh my word this Weather!!!

I picked LG up from school and we went straight to the park. It's January 5th and LG told me she thought it was summer time. Ha! Since we got home around 4:30, I decided to make a fun dinner and we whipped up a batch of Chocolate Chip Banana pancakes. They were more than delicious - wow! I used my basic Good Old Fashioned Pancakes recipe and just added one full banana sliced up and a cup of mini chocolate chips. I also substituted half whole wheat flour, which we always love. We scrambled up some eggs to throw in protein for the meal, but the kids favorite part were the "yogurt squirters" I made for them. I bought something like this awhile back for my bento lunch making and filled them with yogurt for the kids tonight. They decorated their plates and their pancakes and had a grand ol' time and then gobbled it up with a spoon at the end. Fun dinner!

I'm looking forward to sharing Christmas pics with you all. We had a great Holiday and the highlights for the kiddos were LG's FurReal dog named "Cookie" and BB got a "Cars2" Leapster Explorer. OH -and Santa brought Squinkies! The cheapest little, strangest toys ever, but boy do they love them. And play with them constantly. Ha!

I tucked my toothless kindergartner in to my bed tonight and enjoyed reading books with her and watching her attempt to read the Dick and Jane book that Grandma gave her. Watching your child learn is such a treasure. Oh, and I laid with Baby Boy in his racecar bed and giggled with him nose to nose until he finally reached over and put his tan little arm around my neck and pulled my head to his saying, "you make me so happy Mommy".

Yep - that's why I have children. Right there. One of those moments you wish you could relive over and over. God has been so good to me.

Nighty-Night.

I'm so glad to see you back on here again!!! I hope you get your computer back with all your pictures. I love seeing your cute kids! If you are going to start any plants from seed, now might be the time to start thinking about it. I think I'm just going to buy my plants this year. Spring will be here before you know it.
