They're gone!

Little Girl's two front teeth, that is.

We have been working on the second one for awhile. She lost her first TOP tooth about 2 months ago at school - on the playground. It was never found and I didn't get to see it's little cuteness.

She was playing with this one this morning and wiggling it and pushing on it and it released quite a bit and started bleeding. (Just turn your eyes away from this part Julie. I know you are squirming in your seat.) It was hanging grotesquely all day to the point I couldn't take it. I begged, bargained, comforted, talked-off-the-ledge, hand-held and used firm tones, and none of it was getting me into that mouth to pull that stinkin' tooth. She was standing her ground. The drama was thick.

Real thick.

I finally released it into the universe and said, "daddy will help you with this issue when he gets home." Well, he did. It was like an exorcism watching her flail about and act all-a-crazy. After all the activity and crying - David finally was able to get in there and just yank it out in one quick tug. She yells to me excitedly, "hey mommy! My tooth is gone! My tooth is gone!" And then the tides shifted. We celebrated with a sugar-free popsicle and thanked the Lord that the screaming was over. :-) We were wiped.

But we got this.

And this cute face came with the deal.

We've enjoyed making her say things like:

Seashore

and

Snickers

and

Sunday

and

School.

The lisp is my absolute favorite.

Sigh.....

The big teeth are already popping through, so this season is short and she will look older once again before we know it.

She can't wait to see what the tooth fairy brings her.

AND

she can't wait to show everyone at school and get the infamous "plastic tooth necklace" and sticker.

Good times.

I'm off to watch the new season of the Bachelor now. Have you seen the commercials? They are hysterical (in a twisted sort of way). Seriously. Either I'm really excited to watch it tonight, or I'm just so desperate for something that isn't a re-run that I'll watch almost anything. Who knows!

Have a great night my friends!

That sure sounds like a drama filled, emotionally draining day - we have yet to have any of our kids lose any teeth yet....not looking forward to the process, but I am looking forward to the cute results :) Makenna looks absolutely adorable! (as always)

She looks adorable! Greyson has only 1 top tooth loose. When it falls out he is going to look like Mater. Or that he's from Arkansas. Either way :) Also, you are watching the Bachelor? Uggghhh...Please don't tell anyone else that. I'm guilty by association and I have much better taste in tv shows like Swamp People and Hoarders :)
