Being that I am such a traditional gal at this point, I have come to learn that a typical "50th post" screams out for you to share 50 things about yourself with your faithful readers or soon to be runaway readers. Now - I am not saying that these facts about myself will be exciting, fun to read, eye-opening or even worthy of your next 3 minutes on the blogosphere, but hang in here with me as I share the deep inner workings of Kara Ramielle Archuletta-Hosanna. (Yes - I have changed my name to protect myself on the internet. I have used some names from a fairly popular show on Fox. I definitely feel safer now.) Kara~ loved the blog! Let's see... the ones I wanted to comment on are... (going back to read them again...)
1. My sister's bday was on Easter too! Happy birthday! (:
4. My sister used to eat graham crackers with icing on them. Blech!
8. I believe prayer changes things to. If you ever want a deep read check out "God of the possible" by Greg Boyd.
20. I have uttered very few cuss words in my life (probably less than 5 and only the "small ones")- although as Julie can attest too- if I don't quit having problems with my legs during her torture then that number will go up rapidly.
21. I have only had a very small amt of alcohol in my life and only tried it due to prompting from someone who will remain nameless (but you know her very well)
and lastly because this is after all your blog and not mine...
49. LOST is def. one of the best shows of all time.
Wow Kara!!! Never a curse word?? I'm impressed.
We do have the not-cleaning the shower thing in common however :)
just wanted to clarify for the other readers that I'm not a total trash mouth..ha,ha.
Can't make the same claim as kara though.
What's that scripture about whatever's in the heart the mouth speaks...? Think I need to go read the Bible now...:)
I can attest that Lianne is probably not a potty-mouth. I would love to have gone through my life and not have cursed out loud or in my heart to anyone, but I am getting older - I can't promise the same track record for the next 32 years. There have been a few moments where I wanted to lose it! Thanks for the comments.
I'd like to comment on #s 14, 15, and 16........then please don't. :(
and #21-just wait till next time. :) and #45-me too.
It was fun reading about you. :)
Kara - a few things:
1. SO BUMMED I missed Thursday night. Grr.
2. #7 is SO SO true...you were the first person to truly make me feel welcome here in our new town/church and it was immediately upon meeting you! I'll never forget it!
This is probably my favorite blog of yours OF ALL TIME (and girl, you've had some good ones!) I learned so much about you that I had no idea (you french cooking dancer!) Sounds like we would have been "bosom buddies" in High School too. I was definitely a C student. I could've applied myself more, but you and me, we're just too social to worry about grades! Love this blog!
Glad you had a girls night.
I'm the baby of the family, too!
I wish we were just a bit closer and I would be your "partner in crime" in the eating well and excercise thing.
Trying to get my jaw off the floor about the never uttering a curse word. That's impressive.
Happy 50th post!
What a great list! You love Dr Phil AND LOST!!! I am just SURE that we were meant to be friends. We don't have a TV for this year (long story), but LOST is the one show my husband and I download and watch. I have only said a handful of curse words in my life, but there are some words I have NEVER said. I do drink alcohol on occasion, but I have never been drunk. I hate moving....but that doesn't sit well with the military life...only a few more years. I love cooking and baking. AND...there are at least 10 others that we have in common.
