Cleaned my house in a spring-cleaning-crazy-neurotic kind of way today.
My kitchen is sparkly.
My bathroom is sparkly.
My laundry is caught-up.
My bed is made.
The kids bedrooms are picked up.
The dishes are done and in the dishwasher.
The laundry room got organized.
This includes wiping down the washer and dryer. Gross.
My paperwork that was loose got filed in my filing tubs.
The rain was my friend today.
I was productive.
Now I can go to sleep happy knowing that my house will stay this way for another 12 hours.
That is - until we wake up tomorrow and the day starts over and all these things will be a mess all over again.

Ahh, friend. We must live at the same house. My favorite cleaning victories are between the hours of 9 pm and 1 am, unfortunately I am the only one up to celebrate at these hours!
Congrats on all your hard work! :)
Come over and clean mine!
Um....did your kids just play happily all day and not need you or what? I can't imagine getting all that done in one day with 2 small kids! Mine always want to "help" clean, which means nothing really gets "done" except for quality time with my kids, of course. So what's your trick? Did you let them watch TV all day or what? :-)
Surprisingly I didn't let them watch t.v. all day. LG played really well in the rooms I was in and BB was either taking a nap or I had him in his "cage" or shall I say fenced-in play area in the living room rolling around with toys and stuff while I worked like a bee. Some days the kids let me do this and some days I spend all day trying to wipe 3 countertops. This day happened to be a home-run!
Wow....that's inspiring. That my dear, is a productive day on steroids!
