I read the above statement on a blog this morning and because I have no good blog material today, I thought it might be fun.
Here is just a fun list of Ten Things That Make Me Happy.
My children. Their hugs and kisses light up my world and seeing the new things they learn each day.......true joy.
Decorating. I was thinking yesterday that I would LOVE to have 2 huge warehouses that were sectioned into rooms and an endless supply of money to shop with, and then I could practice making these rooms into whatever I wanted. After I perfected them - I would then take on my whole house. (I'm strange...I know. I'm totally letting you into my head right now. Sorry. :-))
My husband. Good Man. All the way around. Loves me unconditionally. Puts up with my morning anger issues and supports me in life. Love that boy.
Drinking Coffee. I truly enjoy having a warm cup of coffee in my hand and sipping it in the morning or late at evening out with a friend. It brings a serene little comfort to my soul. And Yes - it probably needs to be Starbucks.
Making a new friend that you "click" with right away.
Laughing hard and long with old friends about memories and silly inside jokes.
Jesus. I don't know where my life would be without Him. He makes all things new.
Getting my hair colored. I love seeing fresh streaks of reds and blondes on my little head after it has been feeling dreary and dull.
Being with my sister. There's nothing like having a sister.
Baking. If it was a fat-free hobby - I would do it everyday. Love being in the kitchen and whipping up a treat for myself or for friends.
What makes you happy? I'd love to hear atleast ONE thing on your list. Feel free to say "reading my blog". I won't mind. :-)

Love the new look for your blog! Looks great! I have to agree that I love decorating but I definitely run out of space to decorate.
Oooh, this is a great list. I would definitely put drinking a hot cup of coffee with friends at the top of the list. Laughing with my kids would be a huge one. Hanging with my hubby, of course. And hanging with our church staff always makes me super happy.
In your decorating warehouse fantasy, I would come and "buy" one of your rooms! That would be fantastic.
Uh, reading Kara's blog:) and spooning. I know TMI but it is one of my fav things.
And, when I get in my new house you can come over an decorate it for me. I have NO decorating sense. I know what I like and don't like but I have no idea how to execute it. Oh and you will do this for free, right, gotta save the money for the actual decorations, right?
One of my favorite things is playing basketball with my boys. They love to play defense, otherwise known as "do anything you can to get the ball away from mom." I also love working out. Ahhhh...did I just say that outloud?? You are a great workout partner and I am really enjoying our many hours at the gym. I also agree with the fat free baking...hence, going to the gym all the time :)
