Busy Decorating. No time to blog.

So I have been busy decorating this new living room of mine and it is like therapy to my soul. I have had a case of the crankies this past weekend, but the one thing that has helped yank me out of this said mood is placing items somewhere sweetly in my room. Somewhere that is appealing to the eye and makes you happy to look at. That's why I love to decorate so much. I love having rooms that you just walk into and feel happy about the way it makes you feel. I am nowhere near done on my living room, but it is getting pieced together inch by inch and it is so fun to feel all these blank boring walls come to life.

I have been continually scouring decorating blogs for more inspiration and you wouldn't believe how much it helps to get you into the mind set of placement and how things will look really nice to the old eyeball.

I am in love with The Nester right now, and Buzzings of a Queen Bee, and then I've also just recently landed on The Shabby Chic Cottage and Cherry Hill Cottage, and I'm LOVING all the ideas I'm getting.

Do you sense my newfound Cottage fascination yet??

I'm feeling a gravitational pull towards all things "cottagey". It's a word. I know it.

I'm not a whole hearted cottage girl though. You won't find signs on my walls saying "gone fishing" or handblown glass all over the place, but you may see some more old shutters painted to look fresh and new, and you might see lots of birds nests, and there's a strong chance I just bought an old window to hang above my desk that I'm going to try some paint treatments on.

Yippeeee!! I love decorating. I'm no expert at it - by any stretch. I just love taking room by room in my house and making it feel like "Me". Very fun and very relaxing.

Anybody else re-decorating right now? Have you found any inspiration on sites that you would just love to share with me?
