The 1st Haircut of the Boy

Baby Boy needed his first haircut and he wasn't even 4 months old yet. How is it that it works this way with a boy. Little girl's you wait until the very last second to cut those beautiful locks (LG was 2 years old) and with a boy you start chopping the moment you think they are growing mullet-like qualities on their head.

We whipped out the scissors one quiet night and started donning a trim fit for a king on our little man. Little Girl was excited about the whole ordeal until we pulled out the electric trimmers to, well, trim up the boy's neck. She started hysterically crying and telling us to stop. Her exact words were "Stop that! You're hurting him! Don't do that to Baby boy".

Poor girl.

We had to stop the said trim to comfort Big Sister and then continue.

By the way, BB never cried once and seemed to enjoy the attention to his head.

We hedged the mohawk down to an acceptable length and felt very proud of our baby's new look.

Enjoy the head shots.

Looks like it not only takes a village to raise a child but also to cut his hair!! Love the picture of him looking straight up at the camera! BTW- good job on the haircut!

How sweet is this?!? Too cute!!!

I am finally thinking it is time to give Adeline's hair a little trim. It's getting a bit straggly in the back.

That is one of the cutest things I think I've ever seen. That boy is a doll. By the way I'm impressed that you can trim his hair yourself, I'd be scared.
