Christmas Day Fa-La-La-La-La

Christmas morning was a great day with the family. Little Girl was especially fun with all her girly giggling and squealing of delight with each opened gift and each fun activity. LG thoroughly enjoyed putting our her reindeer food on Christmas Eve and her first exclamation to us on Christmas morning was "Let's go see if Santa ate my cookies!"

Of course he did - leaving only a few crumbs behind.....like any good Santa would. LG was spoiled to the point where she pretty much opened gifts throughout the entire day and didn't even open her stocking until the next day. Mind you - David and I only got her 3 presents, so you can guess where the rest came from.

Ahem.

Did I hear a Grandma in the house?

Another fun treat was on Christmas - our little man rolled over for the first time. All of us were in the room and we couldn't help but clap and get excited over one of the first of many milestones our sweet boy will accomplish. Oh I how I love these stages of constant newness and victories over new stages of his development.

Remember the stocking swap I participated in? I got this fun stocking to open and enjoyed every little treat and treasure. I must tell you that I went to Starbucks the next day and blew my card on a yummy Peppermint White Mocha. What else would I have done? :-)

Ok. Ok. Last of my favorites. My sweet MIL gave me a gift card to this awesome store called HomeGoods because I was wanting to re-decorate my living room. She kept the kids the day after Christmas and I shopped all day until I dropped. Here are some fun shots of the living room. I still have a lot more I want to do, but I am thrilled with the start and I hope you all like it!

I will add the Christmas Photos of the kids tomorrow. Hope your holidays were great as well!

BB rolled over? That is awesome! How exciting for the whole family to be there and witness such an awesome moment.

Your house looks amazing! Such a great job putting everything together. I love the bookcase with the big M. Beautiful. If you have any $$ left on that card and feel the need to help your "decorating challenged" friend, well, you know where to find me :) (I'm the one in the same house with the same decorations since I got married-years ago!)

Love seeing the pics of the house. I want to redecorate so bad but don't have the energy for all the thinking that requires! Yours looks great!

I think ever year that we are going to scale down the kids Christmas gifts so it does not turn into an all day affair but I realize it is not me its grandparents, extended family and aunties and uncles. The packages that came in the mail far outnumbered ours. Too bad all our kids are so much by some many! HEHE
