Remember how I talked about gifts and how fun they are to me in a recent post?
Well, I stumbled on this blog that is doing a stocking swap for Christmas.

It's a fun way to meet other bloggers and you get something fun to open for yourself in the mail that will be a total surprise!
I love surprises!
And, by golly, my husband tries, but you can read right through him like a picture window when he is trying to be sneaky. I can pretty much guess every time.
So - you can read more about how they are doing it over here at "The Well Rounded Woman". You get matched up with someone who can kind of learn about you through your blog and they will be sending you something in the mail and you will be doing the same for another person.
Do I have extra money right now? No. Do I have extra time right now? No.
But - I do enjoy things that are out of the ordinary and I feel are not only going to bring me a little cheer, but I get to do that for someone I've never even met.
Very fun I say. Very fun.

I'm off to get things done now. I have put both children to bed, heated up some home-made cauliflower and cheese soup for lunch, updated my face book status, read some blogs, posted a blog and now I must clean - ya know - be responsible.

Sounds fun but you know me too well. I'm out. I couldn't even get a recipe together for the recipe exchange. I'm a loser and I know it. Sorry.

I'm gonna have to join Julie on this one. I don't want her to be a loser by herself. (: Kara- you are always an inspiration to me to get off my rear end and do a better job of starting traditions and just getting into the fun of everything. I wish I was more like you!
