Oh the funny things Little Girls Say

Little girl in the backseat riding to church this morning. I am helping her learn her scripture verse for this month for Rainbows (our church program for 3 and 4 year olds).

Me: Ok. Let's say it. God loved us and sent his son.

LG: God loved us and sent his son.

Me: Great job! God loved us and sent his son.

LG: Woo! Hoo! Great job mommy. You did it! You did it!.......Now give me the "bump" - holding her fist out to me.

- She hangs out with way too many older children I think.

Daddy in the car driving with LG teasing her and being goofy.

LG: Why did you say that daddy?

Daddy: I'm just playing with you LG.

LG: Oh, that's really nice daddy, but I already have a little friend to play with and her name is Emri-Kate.

- Cue the really big smile.

Me and the whole family driving to the store (daddy driving).

LG: Can you get that toy I dropped mommy?

Me: No, honey. I can't reach it and I have my seat belt on.

LG: But there's the buckle right there and you can take it off and then you can just turn around.

OK.

Last favorite phrase by Little Girl.

"But mommy - look at my little tears falling from my eyes. I am SO sad!"

The girl makes us laugh - I'll give her that much.

Aren't they funny when they get those little mouths running? I was actually just wondering to Julie last night if I should write a blog about the funny stuff Anna has been saying this week. Guess I will now! (:

Greyson does the "bump" too. Crazy kids. Adorable sayings. These kids are just cracking me up right now.

It is so hilarious when they start to apply their baby logic to their situations. Loved this post!
