New Furniture and New Teeth

It's been a crazy week. Let me just start by saying that I took Baby Boy to the ER last week because he shoved a HUGE mushroom in his mouth at the park. All was well, but we did have a $200 bill to show that we were there and that he was fine.

Next, David left his work computer and his brand new MAC computer in his dad's car in the driveway on accident one night and he woke up at 4:30 a.m. to find a busted out window and no computers. He lost all his work and not to mention the $3000 we just spent it.

BB got sick and had a fever that got up to 104.7 one night and freaked us out pretty well. His fever finally broke after 4 days, but then he started screaming and crying in pain through the night and clinging to me all throughout the day the last 2 days. He also grabbed at his ears and since I didn't want him in misery all night tonight, we took him to Urgent Care to have him checked out. Well - no ear infection, but guess what I discovered while sitting in my room waiting for the doctor bill??? The boy has 5 Teeth Coming In!!! 5. At one time. One being his one year molars. Poor kid. I'd be screaming in pain too. I felt so bad. I was hoping for something that I could just give him medicine for, but at least I know this will pass. What a day. I'm hoping for them to break through soon and bring him some relief. We have never had "teeth" issues in this house, so I don't really know what to expect.

Well, now on to the fun stuff. We finally got our furniture done we were working on. We ended up buying a new breakfast table at Pier One, but didn't like the chairs that came with it. We bought some unfinished chairs and a bench that we liked and had someone prime and paint them all. Then, I used a dark glaze to "antique" them all to match the legs on the table. They turned out great and we love the way they look.

We also got our chairs and ottoman's in that we ordered along with the new t.v. console. this week. We are so happy with them and they are SUPER comfortable. I included some pics of all the new toys.

Shew. We've had a few things going on, but I am glad that the weekend is coming. Oh and did I mention that David has been out of town all week? Yeah. That makes things fun.
