The weekend, that is.
David and I are relaxing in the living room right now - both of us zoned out from a full 2 days of fun.
We woke up early on Saturday and had a quick breakfast (Big Breakfast we had on Friday when my sister and her family were in town briefly). We headed out to hit the leaves and start raking and blowing them into submission into our giant trash bags. We have quite a few mature trees. It was a lot of leaves I tell you. But, the kids had fun and the weather couldn't have been more perfect, so being outside all day was actually a treat. Here are some shots of my beauties playing in the wonderment that is Fall.
Little Girl and I also had so much fun at our Children's theater here in town and Alice in Wonderland was a huge hit. Here are a couple of pics of us before the show with our friends we went their with and also one at the theater.
I baked a little this weekend too, with of course, the yummy Smores muffins, and I also made a Snickerdoodle Chex Mix for when my family came in town so we had something to munch on. Yeah. That was great for Weight Watchers - now wasn't it?
So, we had church today, ate lunch with some friends, I ran to Target, then Dave ran 10 miles, then we drove down this old historic street in town where the trees are just a big burst of reds, yellows and oranges and David didn't want me to miss seeing it before they are gone in a few days. It was cool. We polished the night off at Dave's parents where they cooked us a lovely dinner polished off with home-made apple pie made by my FIL. HELP! The Sugar!!!
Anyway - it was a great one. Everyone is healthy and I've already started my laundry for tomorrow. Looks like we are making progress.
I promise to post the apple muffin recipe tomorrow. I found the book! :-) I feel like I have a recipe blog now. Anyone mind?

Sounds like a perfectly fun fall weekend. Love the pics. I enjoy the recipes too, so keep em coming.
All 4 of you girls look beautiful! What a fun weekend! Also, since we don't have any trees or leaves...we might need to borrow your back yard to jump in piles of leaves. I'm not sure they would appreciate me going to the park with my rake :)
Ok....last comment was me. Accidentally signed in as Debi :)
Congrats on your weight loss...you look great! And I'm loving lg's wedge cut. Too cute!
