Friday morning blues have sunk in where you have done every "fun thing" you can think of in a new town and in a tiny apartment with very few friends.
Raise your hand if you think I sound pathetic.
I see those hands.
Well, Little Girl is a sucker for a project and an even bigger sucker if she gets to play with bubbles.
We found out how to make our own this morning. She loved helping mix the 3 ingredients together and pour them all in and then she thought it was super cool watching them go crazy in the wind outside.
I found this recipe online for how to make your own and if you use DAWN dishsoap - my understanding is that it makes them a million times more bubbly.
We dug up a bunch of different wands and bubble holder contraption thing-ies and our gymboree little bubble blower and went to town.
Feel free to steal this brilliant idea I have discovered. I know I am the first one to try it.
SMILE.

Where's the pics? I was waiting for the most adorable pics of little girl frolicking in the bubbles! You're a good mommy. I don't say that very often to very many people, but you are.
Sounds like fun! I agree...with julie...need pictures ;-) Or were you too busy enjoying the moment? That's good, too!
We are a long way from needing more bubbles-but I will definitely be making them next time around! In fact I was going to make playdough with Ana this week-I have a couple different recipes for it. One is even edible for those children not allergic to peanut butter! I will be stuck at home potty training this week-so I was trying to come up with different things to do with her. Too bad I don't need bubble solution. ;) I want to see pics too!
Did you get that recipe I posted about the Peanut butter playdough? I am going to make it for her birthday party to hand out. I forget about the peanut allergy thing with kids, so that's probably a good reminder!
Good luck Potty Training Ana!!
I forgot you had posted one. I have a bunch of different recipes for playdough from Parents as Teachers. Ana is allergic to peanut butter (as are all my nieces and nephews) so no PB playdough for us! I have a recipe for one that is sticky-kinda like silly putty. Maybe we'll make that.
