More BENTO and a Recipe

I wanted to post another picture of a fun Bento-style lunch that I made for Little Girl the other day. I am having such a fun time easing into this new way of making lunch. It is so much more fun and also more healthy for my kids.

I made a basic pb&j sandwich and used my heart shaped sandwich cutter. Then I threw in some whole strawberries, some cocoa covered almonds, yogurt raisins, white cheddar organic bunny crackers and carrots.

When I'm at home, I like to use the paper liners (less to clean up) to separate all the food. The kids love eating this way. The smaller portions and wider variety are what keep me excited about doing this.

I did also post a fun new recipe (shock! I know!) over at The Recipe Box for Granola Bites. These are really good and me and the kids both enjoyed capping off our lunches with these little treats.

I'm on the countdown for School Days. LG starts ONE WEEK from tomorrow.

She's ready though. Look at that face!
