I was hot.
I didn't want to turn on the oven.
I was lazy.
A lot of nights - I would look at David and say, "we could either get a salad from somewhere, or I'm willing to pour myself a bowl of Kelloggs Cinnamon Pecan flake-thingies and call it a meal. It was sad.
David was actually laughing at me at one point and said, "what is wrong with you woman?" He was joking of course and allowed me to be a little lazy this Summer with minimal grief.
I appreciate him so.
I have missed my schedule though and my routine. As the temperatures start to cool, I look forward to heating up my house with the kitchen again. And if I do turn on the oven, this is one of the things I will want to make.
I just posted a recipe for Home-made Breakfast Pizza over at The Recipe Box should you need something exciting to make for this Saturday. Make some of the dough up tomorrow....you won't be sorry!!

I packed Little Girl a cute little bento lunch for school tomorrow. I snapped a photo, but my battery died, so tomorrow I will post the picture and share with you my bento dilemma and all the box choices that plague me so strongly. I know. This is serious stuff.
It is now 12:24 a.m. and my alarm (I don't like this word) shall be going off in 6 short hours. Sleep well my friends!!
Oh, and a final note that is completely unrelated. Check out the kids birthday cakes that their Aunt Jenn made for them. Yes - we are spoiled. They taste as great as they look!
