Happy Birthday Baby Boy!!

Baby Boy is officially 3.

We started our day with Blue Pancakes to celebrate.

He's the coolest boy I know.

He says cute things like the word "dan-dave" (band-aid).

He requires me to only kiss him on the cheek after I've put Vasoline on his sweet little lips at night

He runs up to me when I've been gone for a couple of hours and exclaims, "Mommy......You Home!!!!"

He loves Pizza, hot dogs, soy milk, vanilla cake, vanilla ice cream, grapes, cucumbers, orange bell pepper, cheese (oh the cheese!) and any food item resembling the color BLUE!

He responds to me when I "fake cry" by giving me a kiss and hug and saying, "don't cry mommy. Now you better!" - I do always feel better after that. :-)

He makes all those little boy noises when he is playing like car sounds, crashes, the "hey buddy - you goin' to jail. No I not. Yes you is. hahaha." I seriously could listen to it all day. So different from a girl's imaginative play. It absolutely makes me smile to listen to him throughout the day.

He makes friends easily and even seems to draw a crowd of "big" kids at the pool when we swim. The teenagers seem to think he is cute and funny and that his hair is totally rad. I watch them follow him around and ask to play with him and I think it's hilarious.

He only calls LG "Sissy". I never hear him say her real name.

He is loud himself and screams (for fun) often, but does not like anyone else to raise their voice. His hands are covering his ears from LG crying loudly, to the vacuum, to the coffee grinder, to his music in his room. He likes his music on at night, but it is barely audible to us. Strange little man.

He says throughout the day 'I want you Mommy. I want you".

He brings more joy to me as his momma than words could ever express.

Tonight we celebrate with some leftover Buzz Lightyear cake that we put in the freezer, and some of his favorite foods.

Grilled hotdogs, corn on the cob and BLUE jello!

Here are a couple more pics from this morning. BTW - those are blue m&m's daddy snuck in his pancakes. And, NO - I hadn't done the children's hair yet. Bed head at it's finest. :-)

Check back in tomorrow. I will be posting about my new job!! Wahoo!!

Nope. Not really, but I will be back tomorrow and I want you all to join me.

Have a great day! :-)
