Time to myself!
It's Saturday morning. David just left the house with cutie pie to take her to this Grand Opening of a new indoor playground up the street. He is also meeting PaPa for breakfast. I have like 3 hours to be ALONE! What should I do girls? I am thinking maybe a mani....a pedi.....a 10 minute massage in the mall (hee hee)....or start my book.......or maybe I could do some laundry and get caught up. Oh the decisions!!! Just wanted you to share in my joy. I am wondering though.....what do you girls do when you get a couple of hours to yourself? I would love your ideas and thoughts on how you process any down time you get. I typically get so overwhelmed with all that I COULD do, that it's hard for me to decide. Give me some insight into your lives. Until I hear from you - I'm off to................well, somewhere outside this apartment! :-)

I am guessing your 3 hours are up. So what did you fill them with, or not fill them with? Hope you had a great morning. I haven't had too many opportunities like that yet, so not too much advice from me.
Sorry, I'm no fun. I catch up on work, cleaning house, or my to-do list which never gets done! And if all that got done (yeah, right) I would organize pictures or something no fun like that. But I hope you were able to do something more fun and relaxing with your time.
When I get 3 hours to myself, I will definitely let you know. Hope you had a great time and relaxed!
Julie - I am laughing (sorry). I know you probably need that 3 hours WAY more than I do! Shannon - You have WAY too much to do in a 24 hour period. Could those girls give you a break and get some sleep tomorrow afternoon?!! Shauna - Joel needs to get it together. Send him my blog and say - "David gives Kara breaks.....what night would you like to give me mine?" What do you think? Give er' a try! Love you girls! BTW - I went and bought toilet paper, pull-ups and gum at a drug store, then I just walked around the city here by the house, and lastly I DID go get a 10 minute chair massage at a local salon and it felt painful.....I mean really good!
Aren't you a scrapbooker? C'mon girl! Break out those supplies!
I usually turn on some relaxing praise music, fix myself a cup of hot tea, clean and organize while I actually think and pray about my life. I LOVE these times!!!!!!!!
Nice suggestions girls. Amber - No. I am not a true scrapbooker. I am an imposter who "tries" to scrapbook and has little success. Lianne - Your good girl. I could use a little praise music, some hot tea and some time to just "think". I love Makenna, but is it wrong I am already looking forward to my next few hours A-L-O-N-E. :-) What can I say?.....it's been a rough week.
I hope you had fun! Sometimes the hardest part of those little break is deciding what to do with the time! I have two hours every Tuesday and Thursday when my oldest is at school and my youngest is at preschool and I often have trouble figuring out what to do with the time. Sometimes I just sit and stare ;-)
