Do all of you remember the "Adventure" part of the title in my blog? Well. Here we go. We were informed this week of some changes in the plan in New York and the building process here in Tribeca. Due to some changes in the building plans (out of everyone's control) and some limitations that came up regarding staff housing and structure and of course, finances, we will most likely (along with David's parents) be stepping back into more of a consulting role from back in Missouri as opposed to living on-site here in New York. This has been quite a shocker since you all know we just "moved" sort-of out here about a month ago. I am often in a state of confusion and questioning at God's timing and why He chooses to move us around like He does, but I do know that we are always striving for obedience and to seek out what He wants for our life. We do know that our heart has been drawn through this experience back towards full-time ministry and the local church. We know the Lord knows all things and He will open the right door for us in His timing. He is teaching us new things every day and He knows how desperately we want to have a place to call home and to plant roots and to build a life for our family and also a ministry to give our whole selves too. Thank you for your prayers and all of your support through our adventure out East and I know there will be more adventures to come as each day brings new things from God. I just wanted to get you all up to speed with our world right now. David and I will still be out here in February, but then will be back in Missouri, most-likely, until the Lord replants us. All the details haven't been ironed out with our official date to head back home, but we are excited and optimistic to see what He holds for us. It's so amazing how many people we were able to connect with here in New York and even just the women I was able to meet and befriend here in the city. It was truly remarkable how the Lord made that all come together. I will be most sad about leaving these new friends and opportunities to minister. I know the Lord loves these women though and will send people in our place to reach them. Makenna thankfully is a trooper with all of our journeys and our new experiences. Although, I am sure she will be beyond excited to get back home to our van with a dvd player, our friends, our large house (ok. maybe that's just me.) and our routine. I will miss all my forced exercise that I got everyday since I have to walk everywhere. I guess I will have to dust off the old treadmill in Missouri again! The New York yummy food is grabbing on to my hips right now and I am saying "Yes" when I should be saying "no way" to the great food I pass on the street every day. Oh My! My sister comes out in February for a few days of sister time and a fun Broadway musical (we are going to see "Wicked"). I also have to say that when her and I get together - food and limits no longer go together. We love eating good food in each other's company and heaven-forbid either one of us try to diet with the other around. I'm sure we will both put on weight while she's here, but let's hope for the best. I'll be talkin' to you!

Yea! I am so glad you are coming back and I know Julie will be so thrilled. Now Anna and Makenna can gang up on Greyson (:
Ok..gonna be a little selfish. I'm pretty happy about you moving back. It's so awesome how God called you to do something and without hesitation you and David were obedient. Can't wait to hang out! See you soon!
Oh no! Yes, I see the mixture of emotions from your spread out friends. I know you are probably thrilled about going home. But are you still open for visitors over the next few weeks? When is Kim going to be there? Don't want to interrupt sister-time.
What!! This really screws up our Thanksgiving plans! Just kidding...you know I'm so glad you'll be back to Nixa! And so will Reagan! I hope you have us over right away for a spaghetti dinner! Hmm..I guess we need to get plane tickets to New York right away to take advantage of your apartment...um, I mean to spend some time with good friends in the Big Apple again. What does this mean for the Macy's Day Parade? Is it an annual tradition? And whose air mattress are we going to sleep on when we come to New York? :)
So glad to hear you have some definite direction so quickly!!! We'll have to make it a priority to hang out more when you get home!
See you at Christian's party.
Lianne
Thanks for the encouragement girls. I am conflicted about what our life holds, but excited for the future. Thanks for letting me share my journey online!
