Call to Prayer

I had something fun and light-hearted to post tonight and then I read a facebook status that sunk my heart into my very core. If you have ever seen a comment from a woman named "Rheagan" on here, well, she is the reason for the change of this blog entry.

I don't want to mess up any of the details, so I will just keep it simple. She is a young mom with 2 beautiful kids and the sister-in-law of my close friend back in Washington D.C. She went from being just a little sick, to crazy ill and in the hospital over the course of these last 2 months trying to figure out what was going on and why she was having this horrible cough amongst many other things. She had one of her lungs removed this week and now they are saying she may not make it. My heart is breaking for this family in so many different ways. My emotions are all over the map. I can only imagine what the family is enduring right now.

The only thing I do know and what I have clung to my entire life, and that is that God is all powerful. He is all knowing. He is loving. He is gracious and He is our Healer. I don't know the outcome, but I know Rheagan loves Jesus. He loves her. He loves her husband, her kids and her family. He CAN heal her. I wish we knew His ultimate plan for her, but I don't, so I'll pray.
