Workouts & Beef Stroganoff

I am SO SORE right now! Oh Wow. I took a class today that reminded my muscles what I was doing before I hurt my back. I also had already done some legs yesterday and that means when I did 3 million squats today and a gazillion donkey kicks that my legs were completely on fire. Seriously. At church tonight, every time I had to walk over the steps - I may have screamed a little. I work and serve all the Early Childhood rooms and deliver snacks and and whatever they need throughout the night, so it was lots of walking and screaming.

I am down 3 lbs......again (thanks to my birthday week for bringing them back) and I am anxious to get these last 5 - 7 off so that all my clothes fit in a flattering way. I prefer to not look like I wrestled my thighs in my summer capris. Thankyouverymuch.

My hair is annoying me right now. It's long and feeling overgrown for one thing. My roots are showing for two. And in those roots are many new gray hairs. Nooooo!!! Oh yes. And it feels and looks a little damaged or something. I don't know if it's the way my ends are thinned out and texturized this last go around, but I'm not in love. When I go in next week, I believe my words will be "I need something new. What do you think I should do??? O.K. Go for it." I know I'm going a little darker - more natural, but past that I have no idea. I need something new.

Side note: Is it just me or does Steven Tyler have the weirdest, knobby-ist knees ever? It's strange to even watch him walk. Yes. I'm watching American Idol as I type. Random thought.

Lastly, I tried a new recipe today. I've never made Beef Stroganoff before and after a little searching on the internet, I landed on one that looked easy and sounded quite yummy. It turned out really good and very rich. I actually kept dipping back into the bowl after I had put away the leftovers. Go over to The Recipe Box for the low down on how you can make it too.
