It's SO good!! It makes me happy in the morning hours.
I visited the gym to get in some cardio with Julie, while BB decided he would potty all over the childcare bathroom.....stool, floor, toilet. Lovely. He is usually so good about telling the teachers that he has to go, but lately it's like he is just too distracted. I'm sure they thoroughly enjoy cleaning up my son's urine each week. Goodness.
I then trucked over to the grocery store with BOTH children in tow since LG is no longer in preschool. This just takes me to a whole new kind of crazy. BB tries to continually reach for LG with his legs from the front of the cart. LG likes it half the time and the other half she is screaming. Someone is always begging for food. I accidentally hit LG with the cart around 50 times because she walks so close and is so easily distracted that it just happens by nature. I am almost positive that I start shaking by the time we get to the milk and eggs in the back and I just want to RUN to the checkout counter and hand each of them a snack and yell something like "Serenity Now!". Yes. It's fun. I enjoy taking both kids to the store.
We then rushed home so I could shower and then have a friend over for a little coffee and Starbucks Java Chip Ice Cream.
Daddy got home around 5:30 and we ventured out to Chili's to take advantage of the FREE Kid's meals that were going on tonight. David and I split the fajitas, so we got out of there for $15. Oh Yeah. Who's thrifty!!!
The night was complete with our very first visit to our neighborhood pool. The kids were thrilled and mommy was even more thrilled that daddy was home to get in with them. I sat on the sidelines - fully clothed and happy - cheering them on. My fishes were at peace now that we're officially in summertime.
It was a fun and crazy day. I think we may hit the pool again tomorrow. I liked how tired both kids looked as we laid them in to bed. :-)
Oh - as far as a menu goes this week. We have several leftovers that are in the freezer that will be filling us up this week. I will, however, be posting a recipe for Barbecue Chicken Pizza tomorrow that I made on the weekend.
Now, I take this back, I am going to be making some Beef Stroganoff in the crockpot that I am seriously looking forward to. I have thought about it often since I made it last. Totally a comfort food!!!
Have a great night my friends.

I was cracking up at your Wal Mart experience. Hilarious! You rethinking the night grocery shopping trips? We could go together :)
