Little girl does not experience this same staleness, largely due to the fact that she is 3 and also due to the fact that she is just plain smart.
Yeah I said it.
If you are a close friend of mine - you may remember when she was barely 2 years old and she constructed a "snowman" out of a gold gift box, a beach ball, 2 large lego block pieces and a small broom. She said "Look Mommy! I used my imagination!" I just stood there in awe and inspiration watching my little child truly use her imagination in such a fun way.
Well, LG is growing up fast and I couldn't help but laugh my head off when I saw her come out of my room the other day. I had a fresh pile of laundry on the bed (shocking) (OK - it was 3 piles of laundry, but who's counting) and LG comes prancing out of the room with something constructed to be a "backpack" around her shoulders and she said she would see me later because she was heading off to school. She proudly marched around the house and right past me in the kitchen when I noticed what was indeed her "backpack".
Um. yeah.
It was a pair of my underwear.
Here's a picture of both the "backpack" and the "snowman". Feel free to be amazed by her genius at this point.

So funny! You gotta love it!
Ha! I was hoping for a big ol' cotton pair of Hanes under-roos backpack. That would be hilarious! Little Girl is so smart. I know this firsthand when I witnessed her singing her ABC's before most children had learned to walk! (remember she sang along in your basement with that little activity table!)
How cute! Who needs preschool? She can learn so much just hanging out in her little apartment with her mommy and some laundry! Isn't is so fun when our kids are creative and use their imaginations? It helps boost our parenting ego, we can take credit right? :-)
I too was hoping for granny panties. At least your underwear only creates a very small backpack almost invisible really. It would have been slightly more disturbing if she created a rolling suitcase with your briefs.
Funny, and very revealing:)
Hilarious!!
You can learn so much about a person from their underwear...BAH HA HA!!! Adeline likes to put mine on her head...yeah, that's fun.
That snowman shows A LOT of imagination. Cool!
