FINAL DAY of Spring Break

Baby Boy slept in until 7:15. I prefer it when they think 9:00 is a good time to wake up, but he's on a new schedule apparently. LG slept with me because daddy had been traveling. He's home now. Thank you Lord.

Last night for dinner I made a healthy dinner of Crazy Bugs Mac-n-cheese

along with some steamed broccoli, home-made guacamole and our new favorite Chipotle Chips. Yes. We are that healthy. The kids had a hot dog too, but I skipped it for my meal. Blek.

Today was filled with me wrapping yarn around a styrofoam circle form to make a wreath for my front door and making coffee. This is about it. When I say that I wrapped yarn all day - I meant it. It took forever. I will take pics next week after I add everything to it and my current glue gun burns start to heal. LG was fascinated with watching me do it and she felt inspired to do her own "crafts". Baby Boy just enjoyed destroying everything we were trying to do. He's helpful like that.

After daddy got home, we ran back up to the nail salon because LG had 3 nails that completely came off in the bathtub last night. To say there were tears would be an understatement. I promised we would go get them fixed today. This is SO why you don't take a 5 year old very often to the nail salon. She asked if she could skip a bath all weekend as to not have this catastrophe happen again, but I only agreed to let her take a shower tomorrow instead. Less soaking. She's not happy with me, but I enjoy clean children.

Right now I am getting ready to start packing for my girl's trip with Julie. I have outlet mall coupons, free Starbucks coupons, birthday cash and SDC tickets in hand ready to go crazy. My back is still giving me grief, but the ibuprofen seems to be working a little better today and giving me more time on my feet, which is totally good for shopping. I am hoping that it lasts through the weekend.

Here are some fun pics of the kids I took St. Patty's weekend. See ya next week!!
