Sunday Night

We've had a full weekend at the Messner household. Friday night was filled with the start of painting my kitchen. I cut in the whole kitchen ( and for Cheri - this means that I used a brush and went around all the trim and corners with paint before I could use the roller), and then called it a night.

Saturday, we focused on getting the whole kitchen rolled and painted - minus behind the refrigerator......another day. :-) And, we also focused on getting the raised beds built and installed for my new garden. Woo Hoo! The temp was around 65 degrees and we loved every minute of being outdoors. We even had some fun trampoline time with the kids to enjoy the day!

After all that hard work, we rewarded ourselves with Chinese take-out and Andy's frozen custard. Yum! I got my signature "James Brown Funky Jackhammer". This concrete consists of Vanilla custard, warm hot fudge, huge chunks of brownie and peanut butter all swirled in.

Oh my!

Today we had church, leftovers for lunch and then got all of our soil and compost for the garden beds.

It started raining on us right after we got it in. Great timing.

I will post some sneak peeks this week of all the projects.

I hope your weekend was a good one.
