It's my B-day month - let's celebrate

I'm turning 35 in a few weeks.

cough. cough.

Wow. My hips and knees hurt already.

No, really. They kind of do. :-)

I love having a birthday because what other day do you get people telling you how glad they are that you are born, make you food, bring you presents and send you off to dinner with hubby and your friends?

I love it!

I always get birthday money from my parents and David's parents and I am already envisioning how I want to spend it. (Is that terrible of me?)

I have several scenarios I am looking at here.

1. I wear workout clothes nearly 5 days a week and would prefer to look cute if I am going to dress that route most of my days. I am thinking a trip to the Nike outlet would be fun and I could pick out some sassy new digs for the Spring.

2. I am in love with that necklace that I was "trying out" from my friend Erin and am considering that as a possible option.

3. A trip to Gap with money in hand sounds like a lovely way to start out the new season as well. I am SO ready for capris and flip-flops and light coral-toned sweaters.

4. Money to use towards my garden and landscaping ideas sounds fun too. We are actually (crossing my fingers) building a raised bed here in the next couple of weeks and I am attempting to start a bunch of veggies from seed with one of my lifegroup girls. She suggested I purchase my herbs when I get closer to planting and then get these babies in the ground in May. SO EXCITED to see if I can actually grow some food in my yard this Year! Woo! Hoo!!

5. And lastly, this would be a BIG purchase, but I have been thinking about one of these silhouette machines forever. I am a lover of labeling and all things "wordy" on my walls and on anything else I can get my hands on. I believe I could put some serious good use to one of these things to make my house feel super fun and feel more like "me". Do any of you have one? Do you love it? Are the cartridges affordable or do you find some good deals somewhere?

So, there you have it. I am spending my birthday money in my head and I haven't even gotten it yet. So sad. :-) Do you girls have a vote? What do you think would be the most fun birthday purchase?? What would you pick?

On a final note, here is a pic of Little Girl with her "girl cousins" as we call them. They are some of MY cousins kiddos. My brother and sister have all boys, so when we go visit, it's always to go see her "boys". Christmas time and our annual family reunion in October is when she gets to see these cuties.

Have a great week!

I have the paper only version of your machine- its a cricut. I love it but really really want the one that does vinyl as I'm addicted to the wall art. :) Enjoy spending that money! And if you need a something cut out of paper you give me a call ;)
